Bicycling
One of North Carolina's nine designated State Bicycling Highways runs across the southern part of Orange County. The NC Bike Route 2, also called the Mountain-to-Sea Bikeway, is 700 miles long.

Durham Bulls Baseball
Durham's own AAA affiliate of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Take in a game at the Bulls Athletic Park, a $16-million brick ballpark opened in 1995 and expanded in 1998. Games scheduled April through September.
UNC Sports

Jordan Lake State Recreation Area
A 13,900-acre reservoir offering boating, camping, fishing, swimming, and picnicking.
